Sara Carniello (M.Sc., M.B.A.)

Sara Carniello received her master’s degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Padova (Italy) and her MBA in Generic Management from the Montanuniversität Leoben (Austria). She worked about 15 years in the semiconductor industry, covering different technical and management functions in the R&D department. Since 2014 she deals with the topic of sustainability for high-tech firms and with the impact of technologies on environment and society. 

Sara Carniello is author and co-author of scientific publications and patents, University lecturer and supervisor of academic projects. She currently works for the Institute for Climate, Energy Systems and Society (LIFE) at Joanneum Research.

She supports RI REACH Innovation GmbH in the areas of Sustainability and Technology Impact Analysis; Exploitation and Implementation Plans for Research and Innovation Projects.
